Class overview

Each saved advising case counts once, even if revised. Multiple cases may come from the same student. These are simulated career outcomes, not measured educational effects.

Where did students invest their electives?

Home field vs neighboring fields vs distant fields (two positions away or directly opposite). The dashboard classifies courses by field location, not by whether they include cross-cutting points.

Specialization versus breadth

Compares the share of electives taken outside the home field and its immediate neighbors. These buckets use the same seven-field circumplex as the game. Within-major differences are more informative than comparing raw salaries across occupations.

Within-major comparisons

How curriculum breadth relates to big breaks, adapting to AI, civic responsibility, and 100-run earnings within each major. These are descriptive observations from the class, not controlled effects.

Most chosen electives

Discussion prompts

Which curricula supported entry into a profession? Where did outside-domain courses help graduates exploit big breaks? How did AI change the skills their jobs developed? Did broadly prepared graduates consistently outperform specialists, or did the benefit depend on profession and events?
